Midland Country Club

This was a two-year project which started with a complete redesign and expansion of the practice range, short game area and a new nine-hole short course with holes from 40 to 115 yards. The course was dedicated to long-time member and Hall of Fame member Judy Rankin. The course is called “The Judy”! A multi-use building was constructed on the range to provide covered hitting and instruction bays along with a unique patio that wraps around the building and includes a snack bar. The 18-hole course was renovated during year two, with Landscapes Unlimited handling the construction of both phases. The course was basically rebuilt from tee to green with new tees, bunkers and greens keeping the basic routing in place but adding new shapes and strategies. Upgraded irrigation and new lakes were constructed and old water features removed. Existing native areas were cleaned up throughout the entire property and 35 acres of turf was converted to native which will increase the framing of each golf hole. Damaged trees were removed and new trees planted.
