Overview
Royal Oaks Country Club was a project with a sizable scope of work that was planned and performed in a short period of time. The scope of work included new features, fairway grading, new irrigation, new drainage, some cart path work, renovation of the practice range, new water features, a new bridge, and creek bank stabilization. The entire golf course is in the White Rock Creek floodplain and Weibring Wolfard worked with the City of Dallas, Corp of Engineers and the Project Engineer through the planning and permitting process. The construction for the project began in January of 2002 and the course was open for play in December of the same year.
Testimonials
“Due to the scope of work by Weibring-Wolfard Golf Design, our country club has once again become a showplace instead of a tired flat golf course. Their innovations in drainage design have given us not only excellent turf to play on, but many more days to play.”
