Stone Creek Golf Club opened in the Fall of 2000 and has been one of the most popular nine hole courses in Iowa ever since. In fact, Stone Creek was recognized by the Iowa Golf Association as the nine hole course of the year in 2009. As recently as 2010 Golf Digest placed Stone Creek on The 25 Best Nine Hole Courses in America. Because of the variety of tee locations and distances, the golf course can be played as a par 71 eighteen holes with two very different nine holes. Bentgrass tees, fairways and greens are framed with Bluegrass roughs and Fine Fescue natural areas. A fine practice facility was added for the members and local community to work on all facets of their game.
